The proposed start and finish need to match the crack shown in the footage. Ask what cleaning is included, how the repair will overlap stable pipe and whether a nearby branch affects its position.
Before repair: prepare the measured area and inspect the exposed crack again.
During repair: position the selected patch or liner over the agreed length without obstructing a live connection.
After repair: record the visible result from the same access point and direction used in the first survey.

Access and limits that affect the job
The company will need enough working room at the chamber and a route that its repair equipment can use. Pipe material, bore and bends may limit access even when the camera has reached the crack.
Where the damaged section cannot support a liner, the quotation should identify the part that needs excavation instead of presenting no-dig repair as suitable for every crack.
Will the whole drain need lining?
